Synopsis
The dollar baby "Strawberry Spring" was adapted from one of the King's earliest writings. The short story "Strawberry Spring" first appeared in Fall 1968 issue of Ubris, literary magazine of the University of Maine, Orono. The First mass-market appearance of the story was in heavily revised form in November 1975 issue of Cavalier.

Doveed Linder received his education in film at St. Louis Community College at Meramec. After making several student films, he directed an action/western feature, "Defince", as well as two short adaptations, Stephen King's "Strawberry Spring", and Edgar Allan Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart".

Strawberry Spring is a weird and magical film that comes like a warm embrace on a terrible winter's day with the shadow of death. When the police starts finding bodies on a campus, all students are shocked, except for one who is actually quite charmed...

Strawberry Spring was introduced at the St. Louis Local Filmmaker Festival on July 29, 2001
