Synopsis

Stephen King talks to the audience and sets them up for the story excerpt, from "Desperation", that he's about to read. He discusses his "Insomina" book tour that he took across the country on his Harley motorcycle in 1994. Tells some of his personal stories that are just hilarious. Talks about writing The Dark Tower series, and what to expect.

Stephen King knows how to work with an audience. He has them laughing, and most of all, thinking. If you've never had the chance to experience Stephen King in person, here is a rare oppurtunity. You'll notice he's wearing a letter jacket, in honor of the local Bangor highschool team playing that night (which he discusses). He has a question and answer session with the audience at the end of his visit.

This VHS tape was issued in 1995 to help with the Bangor Public Library renovation project. For every tape sold, 5 dollars went to the Bangor Public Library Capital Campaign.
